CSEngineering has been awarded a three-year contract under the DHS S&T Long Range BAA program to provide CPS and Security for Enhancement of IoT Security.

​The first year of the program will be performing a primary assessment which will be geared towards providing answers to key questions surrounding the potential cyber security issues and gaps, while also setting the stage of the establishment of new cyber protocols and architecture that will help mitigate risk and assure operational integrity of IoT devices. The program will evolve over time into testing against cyber-attacks for use of untrusted devices and or environments exploring security vulnerabilities and establishing remediation targets. Actual untrusted sensors will be tested for cyber threats within a simulated environment to flag caps and concerns. This will determine what threats and countermeasures would be expected and work most optimally within normal domestic emergency management operations when working with untrusted devices or environments.
